The bezel of the original Rolex case has been previously aftermarket set with sparkling diamonds, and the lugs have been modified to accommodate it.
Powering the watch is one of Rolex's very fine handwound movements with dual shock absorbers.
It has just finished a true expertly done restoration and customization. It presents on the wrist as mint. Its silver Rolex dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Rolex factory done to the naked eye. Its movement is near pristine.
One of our Master Watchmakers, who used to be the watchmaker for an authorized Rolex dealer and was given special training by Rolex at their Beverly Hills Service Center to be an authorized Rolex watchmaker, has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components with genuine Rolex parts, installing a new mainspring, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $595 value).
It continues to run very strong and true, keeping time on par with a brand new Rolex in our testing position.
For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new complementary blue leather strap and aftermarket Rolex style buckle and meticulously detailed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
