Case: Three-body, polished, screwed back and crown, revolving graduated bezel for the decompression times, engraved back with issued numbers to IDF. Central medallion representing the Kontiki; a sailing raft with a house. The case shows markings. Original mineral crystal has a scratch that can easily be removed.

Dial: Black with luminous baton hands and markers.

Movement: Calibre 2824, rhodium plated, 25 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self compensating flat balance spring.

These Eterna Kontiki Super divers watch were sold in small quantities to the Israeli Defense Force in the 1970s following the Kippur War. They were issued to the Shayetet 13 Commandos, the Israeli counterpart to the US Navy SEALS. These watches were used for diving missions and were decommissioned in the early 1990s for more precise and less expensive quartz diving watches. 

Shayetet 13 is a unit of the Israeli Navy and one of the primary special operations units of the srael Defense Force. Shayetet 13 specializes in sea-to-land incursions, counter-terrorism,  maritime intelligence gathering, maritime hostage rescue, and boarding. The unit is trained for sea, air and land actions. The unit has taken part in almost all of Israel's major wars, as well as other actions. Their US equivalent is the Navy SEALS. Shayetet 13 is one of the most secretive in the Israeli military. The details of many missions and identities of active operatives are kept highly classified.
