J W Benson tropical wristwatch by smiths in a "waterproof anti-magnetic" case of approx 33Mm in diameter with a chromed case top and steel screw in back, with the heavy horn shaped lugs. Fully overhauled. This example has a 16 jewel movement with the conventional spring ring rather than the dust cap. These c series J W Benson watches were made both before and possibly after 1953. Some wear to the chromed finish. Fitted with a zrc cowhide strap in brown. Some wear but generally a very good example.
